Here is a small selection of the wide variety of attractions and activities around Penrith:-

WINE WEEKEND

Develop your wine knowledge and have fun, too!

The next 'TSH Classic Wine Weekend' is from 18th to 20th April 2008 and features the WINES OF SPAIN & PORTUGAL. In recent years, wine-making in Spain has changed out of all recognition and is now a modern, thriving community. Happily, old-fashioned standards are still being applied, so there has been as much of an improvement in quality as in quantity. This Wine Weekend will provide you with an overview of both countries and the wines served during the weekend will come from many different regions, each with it's own distinctive character.

Full details of this special weekend at Temple Sowerby House.
